Hussein brings an extensive track record in sustainable finance (over 15 years of experience).

He has played a pivotal role in supporting financial institutions to develop and implement sustainable finance strategies and transition plans.

He helps financial institutions navigate complex regulations and requirements vis-a-vis climate finance practices and reporting including EBA Pillar 3 ITS ESG, EU Taxonomy, ESRS, and IFRS S2. Hussein has worked with commercial banks, development banks, and central banks in the EU, MENA, SSA, Eastern Europe, and Caucasus regions. Hussein has worked on sustainable finance for both Deloitte and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
